About Zigtoberfest

Zigtoberfest is a small, independent conference that evolved out of Zig Meetups organized in Munich. The first Zigtoberfest was hosted at the University of Applied Sciences Munich (Hochschule München) in 2024. The University continued to support Zigtoberfest in 2025 by providing the location. In 2025 we were delighted to welcome five speakers and about 70 attendees from around the globe.

Zigtoberfest 2026 is going to take place at Hoftheater München at September 12 2026.

Zigtoberfest is organized by David Sugar with the help of Franziska Diaconu and volunteers from the Zig community.
